Google Translator Toolkit - Adding A Human Touch To Automatic Translation

Google yesterday released a new product, Google Translator Toolkit, not quite yet picked up by most blogs, but it seems an interesting product, deserving some attention.

As we know, Google's automatic translation service is not perfect. To improve their translation, Google created the Google Translator Toolkit which will enable humans to manually define correct translations for words, which the automatic translation will take into account before translating the sames words again later.

Google Translator Toolkit has already been integrated with Wikipedia and Google Knol. Check out the little video below which will give you an idea of what the toolkit is all about.

What do you think of Google Translator Toolkit? Is it a helpful tool to have? Feel free to leave your response through the comments and share it among your friends.
