Pingdom, the popular, once paid only, website uptime monitoring service during last week started providing a free account option. The free account option only allows its users to add ONE website/server to monitor. However it is not crippled in terms of features. It applies the same features as the paid packages.

Currently I am using the server monitoring service from Monitive well I used pingdom before but had some issues so I switched to monitive. It's been a year now and I can say that Monitive is one of the best choice when it comes to monitoring your website.
